                  a) Read the questions below and discuss them with a partner.

                  Where do you study when you are outside university? Do you always study
                  in the same place? Do you prefer to study with music playing or in silence?
                  How do you usually study or revise for an important exam? Do you have
                  any special ways of revising that really help you?

                  What part of learning English do you find the easiest? What part do you

                  b) Look at the table in your Practice Book. Work with a partner and match the
                     ‘parts of speech’ to their meanings.


                  c)  Read the example sentences in your Practice Book. Decide what part of speech
                     is highlighted and use the abbreviations from the table (n / v / adj. / adv. / p /
                     prep. / con.).
