Adjective Order
Sometimes we use more than one adjective in front of a noun.
The man was tall, dark and handsome.
The child had a small, round, blue, plastic ball.
Adjectives usually come in this order…

Opinion Adjectives
Some adjectives give a general opinion. We can use these to describe most
nouns.
n good
n bad
n beautiful
n pretty
n excellent
n nasty
n strange
n nice
n important
However, some adjectives give a specific opinion. We only use these adjectives to
describe particular types of noun.
Food: tasty, delicious, spicy
Buildings / Furniture: comfortable, uncomfortable
People / Animals: talkative, friendly, intelligent
