Skill Speaking
Time 20 mins
You could use your own answers as an example to show the
class.
Ensure this is done as a speaking activity and students are asking
/ answering in full sentences. Stronger classes should be able to

than writing essays” and not just one-word answers.
Encourage students to discuss their result with a partner and if
they feel they agree or disagree with the result and why. Open this
up into a whole class discussion if possible.
Allow the class time to individually read through the questions to

as a whole class before asking students to work in pairs and ask /
answer the questions.
Optional Extra / You could select some questions to have a class discussion about

Skill Speaking and Writing

Discuss how the class feel about their result.
B.
This is a chance for learners to display both their discussion skills
and sentence writing. Refer back to some of the ideas generated
earlier in the lesson.
Teaching Tips C.
Allow students to walk around the room and look at some of the
other group’s ideas. This might give them ideas to aid their own
studies. Encourage them to write down ideas that they want to try
in future.

Pick up on good uses of language and phrases to highlight during
Assessment feedback. Ask groups of students for their ideas during whole class
feedback.
