English is ‘the’ international language that is widely accepted and used for global communication.
               With over 85 percent of the Internet being in English, three-quarters of the world's mail being
               written in English and the official language of world organisations and businesses being in English;
               English has now become an imperative requirement for all areas of society. National governments,
               and businesses in various capacities now face the challenge of meeting the employment, labour
               market, business and international network needs of having access to speakers of the “global
               language” English.
