The student should have acquired the following skills by the end of Academic English / skills
modules:
The ability to communicate and understand the expectations of academic contexts in all four
skill areas
The ability to present research results and critical thinking in a clear oral presentation, using IT
The ability to correctly read, use and reference different kinds of literature
The ability to constructively comment on and summarise the work of others.

• Develop General English language skills (Language aspect: lexis, sentence structure,
pronunciation, spelling and grammar. Communicative aspect, expressing ideas, feelings and
experiences).
