Skill Writing

You can put the example text on the board and highlight useful
Teaching Tips phrases and pieces of vocabulary before writing to aid students.
As a whole class, elicit ideas that they can include in their writing.
In class:
Monitor use of tenses in their writing and ask students to check
their spelling and grammar when finished. You could ask partners
to peer check work with stronger classes.

External marking:
Collect the students’ Practice Books to mark their writing
Assessment and write your feedback in the Teacher’s Box.
