ways to describe them.
Aims for today - Talk about some famous families.
- Practice writing and spelling the vocabulary using short
sentences.
- Read a short text and complete a family tree using the
information.
In the Letter String Dictation activity, the teacher begins by
dictating a string of letters to the class. The students write each
letter down in order and then work in pairs to form the questions
from the string of letters. (For example:
Optional Warmer whatdidyoudoattheweekend / whatisyourname / wheredoyoulive).
The students work in pairs to decide where the gaps in the
sentences go. They then answer the questions. Any combination of

ability level to make the task harder or easier.
